Yes, the rumors are true! Monkeypod Art Studio has opened a satellite location right here at Maui Country Club!
This established Maui activity company has been a family favorite at their Wailuku studio for the past couple of years, and they specialize in children’s art programs for early childhood development. Now, through a partnership arranged by Club Director of Athletic Facilities and Programs Kyle Ellison, we’ve created the “Keiki Korner” where the company will offer morning art classes and enrichment programs for ages 2 and up.
Excited? Us too! Cost for members is $10/hour/child, and all members must stay on the property during the time their children are in the art programs (sorry, this means you can’t run to Costco, but you CAN go swimming, play tennis, do yoga, eat breakfast, sit and just hear yourself think, or tackle those phone calls/emails you’ve been meaning to get around to for days). Children may attend for a maximum of 2 hours per day.
Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 8:15 am-Noon. There are plans to increase the hours of operation over the coming weeks and months. The Keiki Korner is in the corner of the Makai Lawn adjacent to the caretaker’s house.
