As a fun way of staying engaged during this unprecedented shutdown, we’ll be sharing photos every day of members enjoying some of their favorite club activities at home.
You can email photos to email@example.com, share photos on our Facebook page, or tag us on Instagram with #MyMauiCountryClubAtHome.
We’ll be sharing a new photo almost every day, and we’re counting down the days until we can all get back to enjoying these activities at the club!
Huge shoutout to Jordy Sharpe who’s been holding nothing back on his indoor tennis! It’s one thing to practice volleys against the wall, and it’s another to repeatedly rip full length groundstrokes and consistently hit your target.
See for yourself in the video below—hope to see you on the courts soon!
Great to hear from Lindsey Solano and son Lane Solano who have been busy painting at home! Lindsey painted the bedroom walls while Lane was the artist for the wave. Glad to see you’re both enjoying the quality time at home together!
The father and son tennis duo of Ben Falit and Noah Falit have been keeping up their hand-eye coordination with some mini tennis on the basketball court. Great to see you both picking up the sticks—you’ll have some wicked touch when we open back up!
Our Director of Athletic Facilities and Programs, Kyle Ellison, sends this to all the parents out there who are trying to stay fit (or sane) at home!
Great to hear from Derrick Montalvo who simply couldn’t go another day without golf! He set up a driving net in his back yard and will be ready to tackle the tee box when we re-open.
Sheltering in place means spending time at home, and for some that means that ocean! The Anderson family bas been putting fish on the table using SUP boards, surf leashes, and an OC-1 canoe. Nice papio!
No wind? No problem! Irene Papaconstadopoulos sent us this video on how son, Jason, is practicing jibes from landlocked lockdown on the North Shore.
Laurie and Pocket Loney have been staying busy with pickleball (pukaball) drills, home projects, and lots of art and yard work. Great to see you both thriving!
Melissa Nickens and Micah Nickens enjoying some late afternoon “driveway tennis” to keep the footwork fresh. With all this practice you won’t have lost a step!
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade…or in this case, a pickleball court! The Kessler family took matters in to their own hands and used some extra concrete at the house to pour their own Upcountry court.
Here’s club member (and pickleball aficionado) Scott Kessler showing off his multi-tasking while filming with one hand and playing with the other. We look forward to having you back on the court, Scott!
Can’t hang at the beach? Then bring the beach to you! Chef Sean’s daughter Aria enjoying some paddleboard lessons with a surfboard, canoe paddle, and above ground pool. Great stay at home workout and fun!
Member Amanda Prouty keeping it lighthearted about how she’s enjoying her club activities at home! We feel ya, Amanda, and look forward to welcoming you (and all our members!) back to the clubhouse real soon!
Members Zach and Annie Thielen still finding ways to get the kids in the pool. Love the slow-mo!
No tennis courts? No problem! Member Kimber Hoang-Street has been hanging on her driveway tennis court and put in 3 full sets with husband Bob the other day! (Tennis rules, not pickleball rules…)
The Hagan family enjoying family pickleball battles in the driveway! We hear Kevin and Laura have been schooling the kids—some things never change!
The Kermode family enjoys some “Wimbledon North Shore” on their outdoor court in Ha’iku! Who needs net posts when you have guava trees and ti leaves? Way to keep working on that net game!
Member Bob Street enjoys some sunset chipping on his homemade Kula golf course. Way to keep those strokes fresh, Bob!
