Brandon Chu
A Maui native and graduate from the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s School of Travel Industry Management, Brandon brings over 20 years of luxury hospitality experience. His leadership roles have included working for the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Singapore, and Maui as well as General Manager roles with a small local hotel and most recently an ocean recreation company which partners with 10 hotels and resorts on Maui.
Service Promise: To create exceptional experiences through genuine care, innovative thinking, and personal connections.
After Hours: Spending time with my family, finding a good new restaurant, and squeezing in some golf or pickleball!
Club Office & Human Resources Manager
Carlyn Apana Morioka
Native of Kauai, Brigham Young University bachelor’s in business with 30+ years in the business industry as an office/HR Manager.

After Hours: Carlyn enjoys spending time with her hubby, working out, retail therapy and traveling (or Facetiming) to spend time with her children & grandchildren.
Membership and Marketing Coordinator
Jennifer Moss
Over 20 years experience in Sales and Marketing including 12 years as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a personal care manufacturing company.
Service Promise: Committed to delivering an exceptional experience for every member and visitor.
After Hours: When Jennifer is not working you will find her volunteering for pet rescue organizations, and exploring Maui’s food scene.
Director of Finance and Accounting
Todd Mitchell
Originally from California but here on Maui since 2016, Pepperdine University BSM and MBA with 35 years in accounting and finance including Nestle USA and Universal Studios Hollywood.
Service Promise: Maintain Accounting and Financial integrity and sustainability while balancing the needs of the 3 primary stakeholders of the Maui Country Club: The Club’s Owners (the Members), The Clubs’ Guests (the Members), and The Staff.
After Hours: Spending time with my daughters, renovating my house, hiking, traveling, road trips, and the occasional video game if I have time left over.
Food and Beverage Director
Reid Watanabe
Born and raised in Mililani, Oahu and graduate of the Maui Culinary Academy at UH Maui College. 15+ years in business and restaurant management.
Service Promise: Keep our members and guests happy through food, service, experiences and aloha.
After Hours: Spending time with my wife and our son, reading cook books and watching youtube videos about food, business, and highlights of sports.
Director of Golf
Scott Klaschka
A proud graduate of Iao School, Baldwin High, and Arizona State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness. Scott brings years of valuable golf experience from his work at Maui Nui and Kapalua Golf and Tennis, excelling in both operations and golf instruction.
Service Promise: My passion for golf drives me to use my expertise to elevate every member’s experience on and off the course.
After Hours: In my free time, I love staying active outdoors. Whether it’s playing golf, softball, tennis, pickleball, or working out at the gym, I enjoy keeping fit and embracing an active lifestyle.
Golf Course Superintendent
Alex Baraoidan
Native of the Philippines, 37 years Maui resident and 28 years working in the golf industry. Certified Irrigation Specialist and a member of the Golf Course Superintendent Association of America and Hawaii Golf Course Association for 14+ years.
Service Promise: To provide the BEST golf course and experience to our members and guests.
After Hours: Alex loves to cook, spend time with family and friends, and of course weekend golf with his buddies.
Head Tennis Professional
Scott Lechuga diSalvo
Living and coaching tennis on Maui since 1996. Certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association in 1997 with an Elite level certification. Joined Maui Country Club in 2020.
Service Promise: To help our members and guests develop their tennis skills and have an awesome time at the club.
After Hours: Spending time with my wife and daughter is always #1! I also enjoy studying martial arts, beach time, playing guitar, and playin tennis of course!
