Valentine’s Day “Wine & Roses” Dinner

The Wine Club’s 2017 inaugural event and signature Valentine’s dinner is a select group of wines paired with delicious courses! Every lady will receive a single red rose to take home.
The Roederer Estate Brut Rosé is full and round with smooth flavors and fine persistent bubbles. The extra measure of Chardonnay contributes elegance and austerity, which balance nicely with the delicate fruitiness of the Pinot Noir.
Oysters on the half Shell with green apple mignonette
Twomey Sauvignon Blanc – The bouquet bursts with mango, guava and gardenias, while the sculpted palate focuses citrus and minerality into lime zest and wet slate. The bright attack, rich full body and refreshingly long finish are redolent of citrus acidity. The perfumed tropical notes stem from the dynamic terroir.
Kupa’a baby vegetables, curry Greek yogurt, toasted pine nuts, olive oil & sea salt
La Voix “Satisfaction” Pinot Noir – This aromatic, feminine-style Pinot is fruit-driven with a nose of slight orange rind character. Flavors of soft cola and plum with a pepper finish. 92 Points -Vinous, 94 Points – Wine Enthusiast.
Seared fresh Ahi, ikura, cauliflower puree, beet gel, parmesan tuile
Bertani “Amarone”, Veneto Italy
Braised short rib, mushroom risotto, hearts of palm, shiitake butter sauce
Domaine de La Tour Vieille “Banyuls Reserva” is a great French dessert wine. Banyuls, made from Grenache grapes, is a fortified sweet wine, with its fermentation arrested by the addition of grape alcohol (similar to port production). This is a sweet, smooth and concentrated wine, midway between fruity & grilled, it shows layers of prunes, coffee, and Moka.

Cancellation policy: Effective February 11, cancelled reservations are charged 50% of the total; same day cancellations or “no shows” are charged in full to the member account.
