Core Somatics with Bill Keele
Tuesdays 3:00-4:30 p.m.
This Somatic Movement class is designed to heighten neuro-muscular function and stabilize core muscles. Most exercises will be on the floor including a variety of Plank positions as lumbo-pelvic and scapular stability increases. Education regarding this “Core” topic will be discussed so that participants understand and feel the benefits of enhanced muscle participation. Results of enhanced core stability include security for “unstable backs”, increased sports performance, recovery from surgery and injuries, and easy positive postural support.
Bring a mat for comfort on the wood floor.
Classes are $15 for members and guests. Club members can come and experience the first class free. A punch card in the amount of $130 gives the participant 10 classes that are interchangeable with the Saturday morning class, and is available for card-holder’s guests, friends, and family without time constraints.
Bill Keele is a Certified Somatics Educator, Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Vini-Yoga Teacher, Certified Pilates Mat Teacher, and has studied Applied Kinesiology and Osteopathy, and has taught Biomechanics and Postural Assessment.
