Gentle Yoga with Tommye Jones
Tommye describes his class style as, “… designed to help you on your way towards better health & wellness. The class while Iyengar based has influences from the other great teachers as well. My primary focus is proper breathing and body alignment. I encourage the use of props and holding poses longer versus moving quickly from pose to pose. The class includes standing, seated and reclining postures creating better strength, balance and flexibility. This class is excellent for beginners and long time practitioners that enjoy a more restorative / therapeutic style of practice bringing the body into balance and reducing stress.” www.privateyogamaui.com

Qigong is a form of gentle exercise composed of movements that are repeated a number of times, often stretching the body, increasing fluid movement (blood, synovial and lymph) and building awareness of how the body moves through space. More >>
When you practice and learn a qigong exercise movement, there are both external movements and internal movements. These internal movements or flows in China are called neigong or “internal power”. These internal neigong movements make qigong a superior health and wellness practice.
